Content Outline

What this post made realize is how much I truly have to do and that I need to schedule everything out, which the next post will help me do.
  • An opening section
I want to open my podcast for this project with an overview of how business applies to the population as well as other industries. I also am going to introduce the different genres that I plan to examine in this project. These genres include email and Instant Messaging systems. Being able to understand how these genres apply to the logic, purpose, and context surrounding these concepts can be applied here.

  • At least 3 main body sections
-        Go into detail about the genres
-        Include my interviews
-        Recap and summarize what messages were said in the interviews

  • A closing section
I want to talk about why it is important communication in business is conducted this way and how it can apply to others.

  • Main idea for each section
-        In this section, I want to talk about the different kinds of communication in the business world and where each of these genres may be applied in the industry.
-        For this section, I want to include parts of my interviews, I want to give my audience first hand experiences working in this industry and what an average day for them is.
-        Finally, in this section, I want to make it clear to the audience what the interviewees were trying to communicate in what they were saying and reinforce their ideas.

  • Major pieces of evidence for each body section
-        In the first section, I want to include multiple examples of the genres used in the business world.
-        Also in the first section, I am going to give evidence of where these genres would be used in a business person’s daily work routine.
-        In the second section, I am going to include the interviews that I conducted with professionals that are currently working in the business world.
-        Also in the second section, I am going to include references separate to their interview on their companies and how these companies are displayed to the rest of the world.
-        In the final section, I am going to include secondary research to backup what they are saying about their profession and what they do in this profession.
-        In the final section, I am also going to explain why certain parts of business cannot be shared.
  • Summary of what the evidence proves
-        This piece of evidence proves is how these business men and women are communicating with each other.
-        This piece of evidence states why each of these genres are important and how they are applied to daily routines in the business world.
-        This piece of evidence directly proves how these workers work with each other and why.
-        This fourth piece of evidence proves what industry these first hand experiences apply to and how they can be similar or different from other business industries.
-        The fifth piece of evidence proves on a more developed and credible basis the inner workings of the industry and on what level each genre is applied.
-        The final piece of evidence proves the reason why it is so hard to find evidence of genres and why they are hard to find.

  • Summary of why that’s important
-        The first one is important because it shows how communication is conducted in my field.
-        The second one is important because it states why business is conducted in this fashion.
-        The third one is important because it is necessary to have a first-hand experience in how the business actually happens.
-        The fourth one is important because it backs up why these specific workers must conduct business the way that they do and the overall motive they have.
-        The fifth one is important because it is necessary to have other accounts of how communication is done from more than one point of view.
-        The final one is important because it explains how business is perceived to those that are looking at it from the outside.

  • Some ideas about how to grab the reader’s attention in the opening section
-        One way to do this is to essentially summarize the fact that business is the reason the world works in every way that we know it and its significance to other industries.
-        A final way is to explain what would happen to the world and the reader if business were to stop all of a sudden.

  • Some ideas about how to explain why the subject matters
-        One way is to explain what would happen if communication stopped happening in business to the reader and world.
-        A final way to explain is what would happen to the reader and world if communication in business became unorganized.

  • Some idea about how to explain the larger significance of your subject in the closing section
-        One way to do this is to explain how business applies to the audience directly.

-        Another way is to explain if communication were to become public to the reader and world.
