This post made me realize
that my interviews could also use some editing in order to make them make more
sense and easier to listen to as well.
- How
did the content change (even slightly - details matter!) when you
re-edited it? Why do you think the content is being communicated more
effectively in the re-edited version?
I took out a section out of the interview in order to make the
conventional time limit. Unfortunately, this was the section that was her
speaking about who her company speaks to outside of her clients and inside the
company such as the public.
- How
did the form change (even slightly - details matter!) when you re-edited
it? Why do you think the form is presenting the content more effectively
in the re-edited version?
I amplified some parts of the section so that the audience could
hear it better and understand what is being said. I also cut a lot of “umms”
and “drawn out words” so it sounded better and was more interesting to listen
to.
